Review on Four Seasons 84706 Shut Off Valve: Ensuring Hassle-Free Control of Water Flow by Brian Young

Does what it's supposed to do, but thread leaks immediately in any position (from wide open to tightly closed). When first installed it was dripping off the threads on the valving screw at the top of the fitting every few seconds at the operating temperature/pressure. I saw other buyers left the same reviews but I thought I might get lucky. Unfortunately, no. Due to corrosion and systemic impurities in the coolant, the leak has reduced somewhat after 1500 miles, but it's still dripping a few drops every few miles. At first I was concerned about how small the rounded ridges on the hoses are at the mating holes, but they seem fine.
