Installation sucks, more than you think. Once I figure it out, they look great. Bought for my Harley Roadglide. After trying them out, you may need to adjust them up/down to set them for your particular comfort level. The first assignment was a trip from Ohio to Texas and back. The rubber on the left pin began to come off. I've tried putting it back in place with a screwdriver but it still looks like it popped out. I don't know how he did it so I'm a bit disappointed and now I have to be careful with the cleated shoe so I don't pull out the rubber grip. You should be able to use them in multiple positions (heeled, flat) without worrying about damaging the rubber.
