Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great, long battery life, great sound and complete package

This is a great travel companion. It has a great swiveling screen that can be rotated and tilted, or even folded like a tablet. It comes with everything you need (except a case for everything) such as: B. A power adapter, a car adapter, an AV cable to connect to your TV, a remote control and batteries. The screen quality is excellent. The sound quality is perfect, no hissing or any problems. There are 2 headphone jacks so two people can listen without disturbing everyone else (and use less power than built-in speakers). The durability of the test is excellent. It also lasts a long time between charges if you haven't used it for a while. The touch controls are responsive and the remote works like a regular DVD player remote. It also remembers where you left off when it turns off, unless you eject the drive. Recently my wife and I took it on a trip and used it to connect to the TV in our hotel room and we really liked it. We brought several TV seasons and films. When travelling, we were all too often at the mercy of what was on the local TV and when we turned it on we found ourselves watching commercials and really missing our DVR. It was great to watch TV on our terms while traveling. I had no problems connecting with the included AV connection cable and remote control to watch. I only have two minor complaints. First, it only remembers where you left off for a single drive, and only while the drive is still in it. If you remove and reinsert the disc, it loses its place. Compared to my regular Sony DVD player, which remembers the last 5 discs inserted, you need to remember where you left off when switching between a series and a movie, or when you pull out a disc to put everything away , like I did . I would like it to at least remember the last disc if you insert the same disc again. Secondly, it does not understand that the AV cable is connected to the audio output, and the sound comes through both the built-in speakers and the TV. All you have to do is turn down the volume on your DVD player to fix the problem. You can alternatively connect an AV audio cable to the headphone jack, but you may get some quality gain or loss by controlling both volumes, but you probably won't even notice it. The battery has been running for a long time. For us. We charged it all night because we never knew if the next time we would be plugged in and for how long. But we've always had plenty of battery life. We used it for several evenings, connected to a TV with no outlet. Without an LCD or built-in speakers, it will likely last longer. We've used it before for his LCD during a power outage and it worked well. But it will never be the same as our 52 inch TV screen. We like it very much. The only thing I would change is that it remembers where it left off other than ejecting the current drive.

Pros
  • Built-in rechargeable battery for up to 7.5 hours of uninterrupted TV viewing
Cons
  • I will add later
