The umbrella was very nice upon first opening it. But now the wire for the solar lights has somehow been caught in the framework which has sheared it into two.After contacting the seller, I was told they won't uphold the warranty due to the wire being cut "intentionally."I sent a message back explaining that it wasn't intentional, it was cut by the umbrella framework somehow. I was then told the warranty doesn't cover it, and then they offered me $20. Gee thanks. 20 bucks doesn't cover the wasted small fortune spent buying this defective product.I wouldn't buy from this seller again.Also, due to work and having a baby, I didn't put the umbrella up until recently, so it's also not covered by ebay's a-z guarantee as it's been over 30 days. Thats my own fault on that part though. Overall a crap experience with this item.2 stars as it is still an umbrella that functions when the wind isn't more than a slight breeze. Just not what I bought it for. An umbrella with no lights would have been cheaper.Edit: I should put that after this review, ebay contacted the seller and they ended up sending a new umbrella. Part of the new frame was bent, so I couldn’t use it, but that probably happened in shipping. who knows. I upgraded the review the 3 stars just cause they sent a new one. Would have been higher if not for the very negative experience.
