I have a 16-inch Macbook Pro for work that I connect to an Anker USB-C hub (model # A8346). The hub has a very small built in cable that is not detachable so I had to lengthen it. This cable seems to be doing a great job so far. Through a hub with this extension I get: - Power* - Ethernet via USB-C adapter (no speed effect, I've maxed it out). 200 Mbps) - HDMI (at 30 Hz) - Logitech USB wireless mouse*** My only complaint is that I wasted 6 watts of power. w). with a direct extension of the Mac power supply). I don't think this is enough to affect my daily usage as I don't render videos or anything super powerful. ** The wireless mouse only seems to work when the extension is connected. with a specific orientation. Flip it if you have trouble. Ethernet (via USB-C pass-through) and mouse (USB-A) also didn't work at the same time intermittently, but disconnecting and reconnecting seemed to fix the issue.
