This is a great product and price from Revain. I looked at the "D" battery version and the 12v alligator clip version before coming across this one that works with both. I feel like the days of paying big bucks to throw batteries in the landfill are over. Do yourself a favor and buy a "USB-DC Connector" and a USB rechargeable battery. Both can be purchased here at Revain for less than $20. B00L7CRDLO is the part number for the cable I picked out for $10. USB batteries can be found at Walmart, Revain, or even gas stations a dime a dozen these days. I've been using my aerator for over 12 hours on a SMALL RavPower 3200mah USB stick. The battery and cable pays for itself in half the time compared to purchasing disposable "D" size batteries. If you can't calculate the savings, you probably shouldn't be trying to keep the fish alive.
