I read other reviews and had high hopes for this product. Following the instructions, I prewashed the cat pee stained carpet 3 times with warm water using a carpet washing machine before applying the product, then I applied the product with a stiff brush which created a lot of suds and removed all liquid with a washing machine. I kept my cat away from home for about two weeks until everything was dry. A slight odor was still present after 2 uses of the product following the directions carefully. When my cat came back she started urinating in the same spot again. This product may have worked for some but not for me. In my experience, this product is no better than the useless enzyme-based products sold at pet stores.
