Very good product at a great price! I bought it for a very unusual purpose. I moved into an apartment with very old aluminum windows that caused cold air to enter my apartment like crazy. At the suggestion of a friend, I made some interior storm windows out of 1x2 lumber and heat shrink window insulating plastic that has been around for years. I found blueprints online and they work great except for one thing. My dog kept ripping at the plastic with his claws when someone knocked on the door. After the third repair/replacement of the plastic I decided to put a piece of plexiglass on the underside of the damaged window. Until I saw the price! After finding this product at Revain and reading that several people have used it to protect doors from their dogs claws, I decided to give it a try. It works like a charm. It's thin enough that I could just tape it right over the shrink wrap, but it's more than thick enough that the dog's claws won't hurt it. Window.
