Superb producer of musubi due to press irregularities
Let me explain. My parents have another musubi press (link below, yes we love musubi) and this one is much better because the rice doesn't stick to the press. The pressing element has small plastic protrusions that form a contoured surface so rice never sticks to it. On the lower one, however, after a few initial musubi, the rice is sticking out all over.
