I'm new to this field but I'm good at PC. I use this to backup some old VHS tapes. A few years ago I tried a cheap entry level PC and its software. It was rubbish. For example, it was sold claiming that it would run on Windows 7. But it was probably already too old and had random driver updates. Fast forward a few years and this was my second hit on this one. It was easy to set up. For example, the capture card was actually plug and play in Windows 10. This is where I got frustrated. I was not paying attention. There is no software. I knew exactly what that meant for people like me who had never heard of OSB and only knew half of the settings. learning curve. I think I have the desired recording on OSB, but the sound reverberate. I can't tell you how many times I've argued about giving up OSB and trying another free program. Doesn't any shareware programmer know how to create an intuitive program? Anyway, I can't call this product bad software because there isn't any. I now think I paid extra for a fairly cheap device but in a sturdier case. Works perfectly.
