Light, springy sneakers

I bought them as a deal of the day. I've only run 30-50 miles a week outdoors for the past year in the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 33 (and now 34) in a size 8.5B, but these New Balances were a great deal and I thought I'd give them one Attempt. as it makes sense to try on different sneakers from time to time. So far I've only used them on an indoor treadmill (those are my "home shoes" at the moment), so comparing them to running outdoors isn't entirely accurate. fair, but they work fine for me. The upper of the shoe has a very soft and mesh feel but seems to work well indoors. These shoes fit but at the end of the run the toes feel a bit tight and uncomfortable. I don't think it's a length issue, more a toe size issue and everyone has different toe size requirements for running shoes. When I bought New Balance as my favorite running shoe a few years ago, size 8.5 fit me perfectly and I wear size 8.5 in Nike Air Zoom Pegasus and Asics so maybe these New Balance run small, maybe I just have to break something. in longer. I haven't had any issues with blisters or pain after running. They feel soft and springy, but I can't tell if that's because of the "foam" or because I'm running on a treadmill rather than outdoors. Anyway, this is not a complaint, they are comfortable to break in. Overall, I'm very glad I tried them. My only minor issue is that there isn't enough room in the toe box for my toes to spread out comfortably, but that hasn't stopped me from walking in them. They're light and springy and fun to run in, and a great change from my usual Nike running shoes. It's hard to recommend running shoes because everyone has different needs for running shoes and what works for me may not work for you, but I love these shoes.
