Review on Blaupunkt 1500W 4 Channel Full Range Amplifier by Catherine Schwarzer

Bought this amp to power the four main speakers in my 1996 240sx. I bought a cheap Chinese head unit and needed something different to get the full potential of the speakers. So far this amp has worked great. It's probably a little overkill just for my speakers. The only thing that annoys me (not about the amp, but about the warranty) is that after several sales, Blaupunkt went out of business a few years ago. So if something happens, it's all up to Revain or it ends up in my garbage heap. Random note on how I wired this up. This amp only uses RCA inputs, NOT high level inputs. I didn't know this when I bought it (probably wouldn't have bought it then) and I didn't want to return it, so I decided to make it work. My Android head unit only has RCA kit. for the subwoofer. However, this can be changed in the software. This amp requires RCA inputs front and rear. To get around this I've previously bought an equalizer which I've never used, but it accepts multiple types of inputs (a set of RCA, line-in, bluetooth, etc.) and outputs them to the front and rear RCA jacks out. It also has a fader to simulate balancing the front and back of the main unit. So I connected my main unit to this EQ, then to this Blaupunkt amp and another amp that I use for my subwoofer. Everything works great, just a bit more complex than I wanted this machine to be. I will update this as more I use the amp or if something happens to it.
