I don't know who it's supposed to work on, but this isn't a "natural" product for type 4 hair. It might work if my hair was loose, but definitely not naturally. The small strip that comes with the set falls off when you shower and doesn't hold up even with careful handling. It's incredibly thin and thin, and gets even thinner in warm water. So if you're a tangle maker in the shower, this product isn't for you. My point is that if you have anything curlier than Type 2 hair this is not the product to go for and even if your hair is particularly thick I would look elsewhere as well. Don't let natural hair fool you. This product is not a sister. (Two stars because this product has the potential to work and be helpful for people with loose hair or those with mostly straight hair)
