This nailer is absolutely reliable. No misfires. No problem. Good storage box. The ratcheting feature makes driving spikes much easier than just one swipe: one touch to set the spike and then a quick swipe to set it back in place. At first glance, the operation seems a bit cumbersome and tedious, but that's more a matter of technique than anything else. Once you feel comfortable with the hammer swing it will be fairly easy. I'm glad I bought this instrument instead of renting it. My flooring project took a while and I didn't feel rushed as I had to return the tooling before the rent accumulated.
