Review on 🍞 Breville BTA730XL Bit More 4-Slice Toaster in Brushed Stainless Steel by Christi Lewis

I have had this toaster for over 2 years now. I've used the $8-10 series of toasters for several years with mixed results. This toaster ranked #1 in consumer reviews, so I had high hopes for it. At first I was depressed. It's a good toaster, looks good and is as easy to use as any toaster, but it didn't beat my last cheap toaster. To be honest I was expecting dancing and toasting given the price. Shortly after the return period had expired, I began to have problems with the elements. I got variable toasts from side to side. Within the first year it stopped toasting completely, regardless of the setting used. The exterior build materials are excellent and it still looks brand new, but I have to "double toast" - turn the bread over and toast again - to get even browning on both sides. It's not worth the hassle and definitely not worth the price.
