These lights are a great addition to your 4x4, tow rig, or just plain work truck! Depending on your need, you may want to wire this to a switch so you are not dependent on being in reverse to switch on the lights. I recommend placing the switch within reach of the rear so you don't have to run wires all the way from the rear to the inside cab.Otherwise, you can just wire these into your reverse lights for much added visability but i'd be worried about normal day to day driving. You might freak someone out backing out of your local supermarket, lol!I will be personally installing these on my 4x4 on a rear switch so I can use them whenever I need them and just tap into any 12V source in the rear.I have hooked them up to a battery to test them working and they are indeed nice and bright. Also, forgot to mention these are installed by friction mount, meaning they clamp on your receiver so just make sure you don't have anything in the way or cover any necessary pin holes.I recommend this set based on everything I've seen so far. The price was right too!
