WayneChicago is right about his rating and cleaning. I bought a couple of ZZ bearings which I thought were competitor junk (ironically the same brand/seller didn't know). I then bought more expensive RS bearings which were better, but much better. I really needed it for my project, I saw his review and comments on cleaning and took a chance. When I found the bin bags were the same brand I tried cleaning them first and was very happy with the results. Here is my observation/experience. I originally soaked them in WD40 for a few seconds, maybe a full minute, but figured the WD40 would remove that grease. I think on some probably ZZs I've had the grease hardens and the particles turn to sand. Soaking for more than 6 hours certainly destroyed the lube. I noticed that the 2 ZZs aren't spinning as fast as the others, so I put them back in to soak. I tried to shake them occasionally during the soaking, most of the time they just stayed there. After taking them out I unscrewed them before drying, some didn't spin as well but got better and better as I rolled them. I think soaking longer might have helped, I probably should have let them soak all day. The set I received was packed in 2 boxes. Each box contained 5 tubes with 10 bearings. All bearings were evenly and generously coated with grease. They did not turn in such a state, there were no deformations, there was no marriage in the party. I use spinners and after cleaning and light oiling they spin exceptionally well. If you need to take them out of the box and use them right away, they probably aren't for you. Unless of course your application requires lubrication. But if you don't mind cleaning and oiling. They're a pretty good deal. Remember if you clean them do so safely and well ventilated and I think the longer they soak the better. The cleaning fluid I used was dark blue/green after soaking.
