This reader is quite primitive. Its display looks like something from 1981. However, it works. I connected it to my 2002 Buick. He read the computer. Codes were not saved. It appears to be able to clear codes (some cars retain codes when regular maintenance is required, such as an oil change). Of course, the codes themselves are not diagnostics; they simply indicate which flowcharts to follow. For an experienced layman like me, that's a good value. A good product.
