Aesthetics: I couldn't get over the fact that the metal frame holding the floating screen was always visible from the side - looked like a mounting kit, pcs. Maybe it's just the shape of my dashboard (Jeep JK) but that bothered me. Also, I was hoping that the floating screen could be adjusted on the fly - this would help reduce screen glare when we had the convertible top down, but unfortunately that wasn't the case - the screen angle had to be adjusted during installation and then blocked. Functionally it was great - a huge improvement over the A6 I have in another vehicle (which is admittedly a much older model) but it was fast with no lag - I was very impressed with the performance of the device. I ended up returning the S8G1A84SD but bought the S8G2B74PM unit instead (but with a screen in the dash).
