I was expecting these to help move furniture, but they exceeded my expectations. You really are amazing. We put them under our 7 foot air hockey table so the cheap table legs don't break when "big" people play on it and the table just moves. This is how they saved our air hockey table from an early death. But in terms of what they're really designed for, these super gliders make it easy to move heavy furniture. Seriously better than I expected - place them under the legs of the furniture and it takes very little effort to make the furniture slide smoothly and easily over our Berber rug - the rug will not snag and there will be almost no effort getting it to push . I recommend these. (We also noticed that Meijer seems to offer these if you need them right away and if you live in the Midwest where you have Meijer stores.)
