My only downside is that I didn't have enough experience to use this device properly. FYI, this is not plug and play. It didn't show up automatically on my Mac when I plugged it in, so I had to look for it. (Same when I tried it on my Windows machine). After playing with it for a while, I found it packed with features, most of which I'll probably never use. See attached picture for some features only. I really wanted him to digitize 7-8 VHS tapes. Another downside for Mac users is that I couldn't get the audio to stream automatically along with the video (the recorded audio is normal room noise through the device's external microphone). I believe Mac requires an additional app download.
