This little RC truck is actually very well built and has performed well so far. My son only ran indoors with it, but he jumped off self-made hills without breaking anything. We charge and store the LiPO battery in a fireproof bag for safety reasons. You can find bags on Revain and there are tons of options. We didn't break anything, so we can't comment on part availability. There's a throttle trim on the remote, so we toned it down a bit at home. We tried to the maximum but it was a bit fast for the room. He got quite a bit of air off the ramp and made several hard landings. Still going strong. You won't find this kind of value for money in large retail stores. The stuff there is basically junk that's supposed to look good but doesn't work well. Save yourself the hassle and frustration by purchasing this entry-level RC truck. Would buy again and recommend without hesitation. The only recommendation for these manufacturers is to have a fireproof charging/storage bag when using LiPO. It won't cost much, especially since you can get them straight from China and you really shouldn't put cost over safety. Even a size that only fits the included battery and maybe a spare battery will do.
