The cloth case is beautiful and that's all I can say about it. Despite all the hype I saw online about Hahnemühle products, this item was not what I was hoping for. My watercolors look kind of "soft" no matter how hard I try to apply clean areas of color. The paper doesn't allow for slick washes, nor does it like to rub *everything* at all, so be careful if that's your favorite technique. It's the right book for sitting at home on watercolor sketches (and forgetting about finished rendered work), but I didn't want it for that. I was hoping to sketch outside, but this book is too big and won't fold under itself, so juggling this and a box of watercolors is impossible, let alone a brush. There are better watercolor albums for less than what I paid here; I would allow it if you just don't like the aesthetics of this particular book.
