I bought this camera on purpose because it is larger than the rear view camera on my hatchback license plate and I needed something strong and visible from the outside of our 5th wheel van. Ford F-250 (early 2000 model) and it's impossible to see anything behind the truck with our van attached. Everything was easy to connect, especially since there were no long cables and wires like with a traditional rear view camera. The camera itself is also easy to maneuver to focus exactly where you want it. What I really like is the image quality. It wasn't cropped or anything like I expected and it had a sharp image throughout. As a side note, I feel safer having a large camera on the outside of our RV. Most people don't know it's a backup camera and assume it's a surveillance camera. This is great for camping or overnight stays in remote areas and as a deterrent for people getting too close to my campsite. This camera is value for money and I'm excited to see how it holds up this season.
