My 9 year old is VERY sensitive to fit and fabrics. It is a nightmare trying to find her clothing. I wanted her to wear something new for family photos and at the very last second we ordered this. It arrived just as we were getting in the car to leave so I was very nervous whether she would wear it. She LOVES it. We ordered it slightly large (she hates tight) so it will fit for a while. The fabric does feel light but isn't too thin, is very comfortable, and not restricting at all. While it isn't my personal favorite print lol it is everything she wanted. I have even ordered a smaller one because her 3 yr old sister keeps trying to steal this one. So thankful there is a Christmas cat print too because now she isn't complaining about a Christmas dress! This is NOT a warm dress, but she runs hot and loves the cool feeling it has on her skin. Thank you! I highly recommend you try this dress, esp if you have a sensitive kiddo. Every kid is different but I hope you have the same success!We ordered the 10-13, and she is 9, 74 lbs and about 4'8". It hits her just below her knees and is a little loose with room to grow. Hopefully the pics help, sorry they're not super clear, I cannot find the higher quality ones.
