Poor socket connection
I have a 2016 Jetta. Most bulbs will fit, but they're too loose in the trunk and the connectors barely touch. So the light flickers. The internals have great connectivity, but even if you turn off the light, it's still on. It's very dark and not that noticeable when driving, but if you look up you can see it. Although they are bright, better than stock.
