I have a 2016 Jetta. Most bulbs will fit, but they're too loose in the trunk and the connectors barely touch. So the light flickers. The internals have great connectivity, but even if you turn off the light, it's still on. It's very dark and not that noticeable when driving, but if you look up you can see it. Although they are bright, better than stock.

5 stars I give to those I could give. They are super bright! Make sure you get the right ones for your car. I have a Jetta S and this is for the GLI. They are only suitable for map and dome lights. Trunk and license plate lights are different. It was my fault so I'm not deducting a star for my mistake.

The light is nice and bright! Has given my car (Jetta 2015) a more modern look inside. My rear windows are tinted and with the headlights on you can see into the car at night. Although it was pretty cute. Definitely an upgrade over the standard lighting. The only complaint is that the lights are always slightly on (really, very dim). They're not bright enough to be a distraction, but you can see them dimly lit when driving at night. I wouldn't let that stop me from buying them again.
