Inaccurate Works well with tachometers

I really like the look of this wheelbarrow as well as its simplicity. However, I am disappointed with the work of the wheelbarrow. I installed it on my '67 Barracuda with a 440 engine. This tachometer reads 500 RPM (idle) - 1000 RPM (at speed) faster than my engine's actual RPM (checked with a timer that reads RPM). . in one minute). I'm not sure what's causing this, but it's frustrating.
