Excellent suction power. So install and forget about this product.

Correct. What I wanted to say. The original detector mount was flimsy and allowed me to properly position the detector on my Chevy van. I originally planned to remove the suction cup every night to preserve its lifespan as long as possible, but it's like installing it and forgetting about this type of product. That plan fell through as the suction is so good I don't even realize it's there and never seem to forget to turn it off when parked overnight.
