. I'll start with the cons: they charge for a long time, and at maximum brightness the charge lasts a short time. It makes sense to me because they're pretty bright. I bought these to replace the round fill light because no matter what I did with the placement of the ring light it would bounce off my glasses and look silly. They still reflect in my glasses, but being wireless makes them easier to position at the best angle, and even when reflected in my glasses they look like a much more natural and normal form of light than a ring. I use one as the main light and the other as a fill light, and even at night when there aren't any other lights around, it brightly illuminates my face on video calls and eliminates much of the graininess you get in low-light conditions. I also really appreciate that when the battery runs out, the light not only runs out and suddenly goes out, but gradually dims until it goes out. This creates a more natural transition on the rare occasions when I make video calls that last longer than the lights' battery life. I've only experienced this once and then added some USB extenders so I could always keep the charging cords close to where the flashlights rest with a pair of magnetic cord holders. This keeps the charging cables out of sight until I need them, but they are easily accessible without moving the light. So now when I have a long meeting, I just plug them in.
