I bought these water boots for my 4 year old son as he outgrew them in the middle of beach season. He quickly gave up his athletic sandals and started wearing them for daily activities. They are suitable for everything: running, mud, water, sand, riding a bike, riding a scooter, climbing trees, hiking trails, visiting museums. He never blushes like you'd expect from a day in rubber shoes with no socks, even when the shoes are wet. And aside from being dirtier than ours, these shoes look just the same. Very little wear after two months of daily use by a very active boy.
