Review on 42030 Aluminum Speed Scoop - Enhanced for Superior Benchmarking by Eric Teshome

Can't believe I didn't get this sooner! I have a popcorn maker and the scoop it came with was pretty annoying to use. It was fine, scoop-shaped, not flat on the bottom so it was difficult to get much at once, and it scooped up all the seeds too. Silly. Other than that you don't get much at once and if you do you lose a lot by shaking it to make the seeds fall through the holes but it doesn't matter. Give the kids a bowl full of seedless popcorn that's worth a few extra spins with this spoon. I just wish there was a left handed option. So far I haven't noticed any grip issues like some other reviewers, but I'm wondering if this is due to popcorn oil getting into the threads. Inside the wooden handle is a metal threaded part that the screw end of the metal handle enters. Seems well done. So I'm guessing the oil is helping the thing turn.
