Essential for popcorn makers

When I got my first popcorn maker I wondered if a scoop like this would be needed. I saw some reviews that said it wasn't. But now that I got one of these, I'm very, very glad I got it. Why? It's simple: popcorn makers are rectangular in shape, making it almost impossible to scoop popcorn kernels from the edges with a rounded scoop. It's also well made and dishwasher safe. Trust me: you'll be glad when you get one of these.

  • Few competitors
Cons

This is the popcorn spoon you are looking for!

This is the third popcorn scoop for my 8 oz popcorn cart. I think the 3rd time charm. I love this owl. That's a good size for a car. The others I had were too big. It feels good in the hand and is easy to use with my car. I love holes so any grains you pick up fall through. We use this once a week and I find that I can hardly find any popcorn kernels in my popcorn bag with this scoop. Highly recommended. Hand wash but easy to clean.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Where has my whole life been with popcorn?!?

This thing is way better than the free one that came with my popcorn maker! You'll be surprised (I was surprised) but these little holes are designed to allow unpopped grains to fall through them, not into your bucket! Yes, I eat mine, but a bucket. Don't judge, you eat too, otherwise you would be looking for a spoon like this! Seriously, it's very durable and well designed to fit popcorn in a bucket or one of those little bags I have no fucking idea who's using! Just grab it, it comes in a…

Is working. Needed some custom adjustments for a little home popper

It's decently complex. Nothing to worry about. The grip wasn't tight but that was an advantage as the metal part had to be bent to better suit my home theater style popper. The handle was difficult to bend as it was difficult to clamp in my vise. I also bent the sides a bit, but that was easy. Once I set the grip angle, my popper works much better. It's still too big for him, but that's because the homemade popper isn't that big. It works to separate non-promoted cores, so it does what it was…

Near perfect best catering equipment and supplies

Received this to replace the scoop that came with my Great Northern popcorn maker - the original scoop kept picking up too many unopened kernels when I sank to the bottom of a batch of popcorn. This piece of thicker metal that's really beautiful. Has a good weight when you pick it up. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the grip angle isn't quite right. There should be a little more to the side and a little more "up" to allow for natural paddle movement. The old shovel has an almost…

Uncomfortable and a bit large

Purchased January 2017 from Revain as a retailer. The angle of the blade makes it uncomfortable to use. The size is also bulky for our Star 39d commercial popcorn maker, which is not one of the larger popcorn models. Most people tasked with filling popcorn bags turn to the cup instead and only use this scoop to scoop the pods and unpopped corn into the waste bowl. We only hand wash it, and the handle and shovel have held up about a dozen times when they've been used. I really wanted this shovel

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Yes, it is very suitable for catering equipment and accessories

I've been looking for a long time for an aerated popcorn scoop that isn't tiny. The vent holes allow unopened grains to fall out, which is nice. I use it at home and for movie nights. We have reusable popcorn cups and a crazy popper. I pour popcorn into a large stainless steel bowl, toss in olive oil (yes, it tastes great like butter, but better for you) and some nut salt. Then I use this scoop to fill in the cups. Reusable cups have a hole about 3 inches in diameter, and that works great…

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Long wait

Can't believe I didn't get this sooner! I have a popcorn maker and the scoop it came with was pretty annoying to use. It was fine, scoop-shaped, not flat on the bottom so it was difficult to get much at once, and it scooped up all the seeds too. Silly. Other than that you don't get much at once and if you do you lose a lot by shaking it to make the seeds fall through the holes but it doesn't matter. Give the kids a bowl full of seedless popcorn that's worth a few extra spins with this spoon. I…

It's show time! for catering supplies

I bought this spoon along with the popcorn maker I bought 2 years ago. spent a lot of time not only selling popcorn to customers behind the counter, but making it fresh in a Cretors professional popcorn machine several times a week! So I know popcorn very well! (And enjoy it like my favorite snack!) When I had to retire and lead a less active lifestyle, I decided that I would fulfill my lifelong dream of owning an actual popcorn maker and making my own movie popcorn at home. to watch classic…
