This is exactly what I remember from my childhood. They aren't very durable, but I wasn't expecting that either. Easy to assemble. I made one and my 5 year old easily made the next one (I had to help separate the needle from the spinner. My girls had fun throwing them around and they were fun and cheap to make for a birthday.
