They made life more convenient
I ordered them because I drink iced drinks all the time. You're pretty thin. The plastic looks thin. However, they also work great for what I wanted them for. Also, I'm lazy when it comes to washing glasses. I use a cup several times before throwing it away. I also found them great for carrying my fruit salad to work. Next time I'll probably use styrofoam so condensation doesn't puddle on the surface of the counter or table.
