I really don't understand the rave reviews for these shoes. Do they look well made? Of course I'm thinking of shoes with mesh. are they comfortable I suppose, but nothing to write home about. I also find them terribly ugly (I know personal preferences) and worst of all the soles seem to be made entirely of hard plastic! They offer ZERO profile and traction from ANYTHING! If you walk on a hard surface such as tile, laminate, etc., you will slip. It's not about if, it's about when. I've never seen a shoe sole made out of this material in my life and can't imagine what they thought it could be good for. are they light You bet! But what good is it if you can't even stand? I wore these shoes once and will never wear them again. If I only wear them around the house I prefer the comfort of my slippers (with a protector). So, to recap: ugly, horrible soles with no traction, profile, or flex, and they cost over $100! This totally confuses me. No way. No no no. Keep shopping.
