I recently switched from a Mac to a PC, but wanted my old 27-inch iMac, which was basically a paperweight, as a second monitor for video editing from a PC use laptop. This converter is amazing and did exactly what I needed - the resolution is amazing, no lag but then again - I don't use it as a display mirror - just as an extension. I also bought a Displayport to Mini Displayport cable with this adapter to upgrade to an iMac.
