Fram air and oil filters are the only ones I have in my Tahoe. I have a larger 6.2 liter V8 engine and I use this heavy duty filter over the stock CA8756 as it is a longer lasting filter if you carry your truck a lot or drive it in dusty conditions such as dirt roads and farmland. For some reason this high performance filter costs the same or less than a standard filter, which I think would be the opposite, but I'm not complaining! I change my air filter every 2 oil changes, which is probably more often than necessary, but it's such a cheap and easy thing to change and can do as much good as you do. This is a much better filter but only slightly more expensive than cheap aftermarket filters.
