power to the people. Right?

Don't get me wrong, I love the Salomon Speedcross. I've been a loyal user since Speedcross. The problem is that people have complained about the Speedcross 3, saying they are too soft. Too soft and doesn't offer enough support. When the 4 speedcrossers came out they were a lot less soft than the 3 speedcrossers. I really loved them and thought these 4s were perfect, but they were actually too low in the heel and you could risk pinching yourself because of it. Guess what. They fixed the heel issue and the Speedcross 5 had incredibly high heels but completely removed any cushioning. These things are harder than you can imagine. At first I thought I hadn't broken them, but I've ridden them over 150km and they're still rock solid. I personally like a little more pillows. I charge a Speedcross 4 a thousand times more than a Speedcross 5. Also, I paid $160 for these little ones and as of yesterday you can get them for $90 in a few colors (mine is dark blue). The style is beautiful, it's a well designed shoe. People asked for fewer pillows and more support! Solomon answered their prayers. I would say it's too much.

Pros
