I love the fact that this is a 4K monitor and it's quite large for my desk. It has many real screen states to display windows open side by side. I also love that this monitor has a VESA mount so when used with a monitor arm it not only saves extra space on my desk but also elevates the monitor and aligns it with my line of sight. It has 3 ports, 2 HDMI and 1 DP, which should be enough for normal use. The color palette isn't great, but not bad. Since I mainly use it for coding and reading, and not for editing photos or videos, that's quite enough. For people who want to do professional design or media editing, this probably isn't the best choice. The automatic video input source detection just DOES NOT WORK. I have to fiddle with the tiny joystick knob on the back to set the correct input source. Also annoying is that nothing is displayed from the MBP at boot unless I open the laptop first to simultaneously display something on the built-in screen. I'm not sure if it's a driver issue or what. Also, the monitor's built-in menu will not be displayed if the monitor is not receiving a valid signal from the input source. Overall, the usability leaves a lot to be desired.
