All in all a good monitor for home use. There are better ones, but the price is worth considering. I bought it because I wanted to view larger text files - so far it's doing its job well. First off, this is an incredible monitor when it comes to gaming. It blows my mind with picture quality, color, brightness and game environments that are much more realistic with depth and detail. Unfortunately, Samsung has made terrible choices when it comes to letting the person change the settings or the source used with the monitor. It's not the best monitor I've ever bought, but it's good enough to be my second. Since I only use it as a second monitor, I can't say if it's suitable for gaming. The monitor is large, bright, the color reproduction is correct. As shown in the attached image, the monitor (left) looks "bumpy" against a clean background - black, white, or any other color. I slightly reduced the brightness of the image to increase the effect. It's not that strong in real life, but it's easy to see, especially from an angle. Since we are not working with pure backgrounds, the problem is not that important.

The display is pretty sharp! I don't want to go back to my small monitor after getting used to it. One downside is that the refresh rate is a bit slow. With such a large screen, it's easy to feel resistance when moving the mouse pointer. But it may not be suitable for gaming!

I mainly use this to work over KVM and on the Mac. Works great on Mac but when I switch to Linux there is green noise in dark colors. For the amount I spent and the main use case, this monitor represents good value for money. I don't think it's a gaming monitor, haven't tried it, but the refresh rate is low. For a programming job, that's great.

Great video. Removing the EZ Pack. EZ setting; among other things, there is no sound. I am legally blind so use the monitor in dark mode. 4k and the most beautiful black I've ever seen come together in an image that does the job even better. It's a good monitor, but just that and bare bones. I use it when I'm working on my laptop from home and was a bit surprised that it doesn't even have the most basic of speakers. And seriously. When I first started using this monitor I tried multiple connections to connect to my Macbook Pro:1. Lightning Bolt elgato Hub -> Displayport output with Displayport-to-DVI->DVI-to-HDMI2 adapter. Constantly in Zoom meetings, screen sharing Excel documents. This makes it feel like I have Excel open initially and don't see a tiny zoom or collection of commands. It's also the perfect size to have email/Slack/Commands on one side of the screen and my work on the other. It's not in the same league as the Dell Ultrasharp series, but for the price, it's great value. The picture is good, nothing more. Works very well when it works. It doesn't wake up for a while and the only way to get it back is to unplug it and plug it back in. The power button and/or restarting the computer does not work.

The model that was delivered was defective. After the 30 day mark it started to take its toll on me with OSD freezing, power outage and harsh green flickering meaning I can't get it back. Great monitor for the price. I bought two for dual installation. Incredible desktop workspace. I am a software developer and the increase in performance is measurable. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the odd branded power adapter - a big box with a plug on the end with a thin (and not long for my needs) code with a special plug that plugs into the back of the monitor. .

Set up quickly. Booted via HDMI from my Mac Book Pro. No adjustments were required. Very appealing resolution, color and brightness. I use it for my ham radio's main working display.

When moving, there were some dismantling problems, so that I had to move the monitor with the stand awkwardly when moving house.

I'm only writing this review after doing some shopping, please don't make the same mistake I did, you can get a decent 42 inch 4k TV for the same price. The picture is decent and it will work for what I need it for, but I could pay the same for a better product. I love the fact that this is a 4K monitor and it's quite large for my desk. It has many real screen states to display windows open side by side. I also love that this monitor has a VESA mount so when used with a monitor arm it not only saves extra space on my desk but also elevates the monitor and aligns it with my line of sight.
