I bought it to replace my current 32 inch Samsung monitor with a UHD monitor. The first problem arose after replacing monitors with my existing DisplayPort cable. The computer did not start. I don't have a graphics card." Indeed, the monitor managed to hang up the Nvidia card. I switched to the HDMI cable that came with it, and after unplugging the computer for a while, it booted up. I was streaming HD content and that first thing I noticed was a hiss in the speakers, which wasn't there before the replacement, digital noise somehow got through my USB-DAC into the speakers of the reference monitor, then it started to flicker - not the whole screen, but just part of it. Not so sure. A large geometric pattern appeared flickering, causing the primary colors to be washed out, and then it began randomly going into sleep mode (or just turning itself off) at intervals of a few seconds to a few minutes, and that while he was playing flash the video the audio continued so the computer was still running i guess the monitor just decided to pause chen. I put the old monitor back in its DisplayPort position and the noise was gone as was the blanking. Back to your box and back to Revain comes this hot mash. EDIT: When I repackaged it for return, I found that there was no protective film anywhere on the monitor. After writing this review I also checked the manual and the monitor arrived with the OSD in lock mode and I could not get it out of this mode. Add to that an extra layer of tape on the box, and I'm starting to wonder if what I got was a 'fix' of someone's problem.
