Review on High Sierra Backpack Space 8 5 Inch Tablet Accessories for Bags, Cases & Sleeves by Stanley Redline

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great bag - could use some padding.

At first I wasn't sure how I would like this backpack because there are so many extra hooks, loops and bolts to hang things on and I was me not sure if i would use it for everyday computer bag use. Now that I've been using it every day for a month, I'm hooked! Here are my pros and cons: Cons: 1. The reason this bag gets 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the lack of padding in the main computer pocket. I find it uncomfortable to sit upright with my computer in it because there is almost nothing at the bottom of the bag to protect the laptop. I wish I had removed the padding from my old computer bag before sending it in for recycling.2. The pockets are generally a bit smaller than I prefer. In particular, the front pocket that contains all the organizers does not open wide enough for convenient use of the organizers.3. The fabric looks a bit cheap. It's a very solid build, but it just doesn't look solid. Advantages: 1. Organization! I wasn't sure if I wanted all the loose parts and some of them are still unused. But I LOVE having different little pockets all over the bag. I put my water bottle in one side mesh pocket and a small umbrella in the other. The little pocket at the top center keeps all my feminine essentials close at hand, and the second little pocket is where I keep pens, a few bucks, and lip balm — other things I might need in a hurry. The phone pocket on the strap is a bit small for my phone case, although I can just squeeze it in. But let's be honest, I mostly use my phone on the subway when I'm on my way to work anyway. However, the bag is GREAT for storing tissues in the cold season and for storing a group of hair ties to use when the subway gets too crowded or the inside temperature really doesn't match the changing seasons outside. If you have a phone larger than iPhone 5, you may find it difficult to use the phone case as intended.2. Good follower. The straps are very comfortable and easy to adjust. I've found that the bag doesn't rub my clothes when I have to walk long distances, unlike some other bags I've tried.3. The front center clip can be used to hold another bag (such as a canvas tote bag) when you need to carry something while keeping your hands free. I wouldn't attach anything that weighs more than a few pounds, but so far it's held up. In short, this bag works for me! I just recommend being careful when putting it in with a laptop. Either way, it's probably a good habit to get into.
