All I wanted was a light watch, comfortable on the wrist, easy to read and accurate. I didn't need a calendar, stopwatch, 300-foot water resistance, or any other fancy features. This is my second Casio of this model. The first strap broke after about three years, and a new strap cost about the same as a new watch. Also, the battery was most likely nearing the end of its lifespan. So for $12 I took the plunge and bought a brand new watch. My first reaction to the new watch was that it was terribly inaccurate. In the first hours he lost about 5 minutes. I asked for a replacement but found the next day that no more time was wasted. Turns out I didn't follow the instructions to set the time. If you read the fine print, it tells you to set the watch four or five minutes from the current time and then turn it back before you push the crown. After doing this, it was accurate within a few seconds per month. Incidentally, Revain responded immediately and sent me a replacement, but as I was happy with the original when the replacement arrived I sent the replacement back unopened.
