Broken after two months

Two months later I noticed that the second hand is only ticking in one place. I thought it might be a dying battery so I unplugged it and it was still happening. 1 star. What a waste of money. I know it's a cheap watch but it should last longer. I have a cheap Casio digital watch that has worked for years (only needs to change the battery when needed).

Doesn't keep time well

Keeps time on the shelf very well but (to my great surprise) this watch often loses several minutes a day when worn. In one week he lost twelve minutes. I don't work with a jackhammer, I mostly sit at the computer. Very disappointing as the size, design and weight of the watch are perfect. I really wanted to like this watch, but it's useless if it can't tell the time.

Great value - reliably easy to read

I am very happy with my purchase. I didn't buy it to wear on my wrist, but as a watch on my bike handlebar. I drive 150 km a week. I was looking for something black, not too big, and it had to be water resistant and have an easy to read dial. I found all these qualities in this cute Japanese movement watch. What value. I used the same strap that came with the watch, resized the new buckle hole and tightened it into place on the bike handlebars. I don't wear a watch and can look at the watch…

Inexpensive (not cheap) Low profile watch

I'm a grown man who needed a cheap low profile watch for nursing school. I wanted a watch that was easy to clean and had a second hand. The dial is tiny, but so simple and uncluttered that it's easy to read. The watch strap is also small but fits me, although people with a large body or men with thick wrists should probably look elsewhere. It's easy to clean, but it's so cheap that if I scratch my face I'll probably throw it out and get another one. To be honest, the watch feels cheap and…

Excellent value for money, easy to read, light weight and accurate

This is excellent value for money. The watch is fashionable enough for everyday office use, displays the correct time, has a relatively low profile and is light in weight. I've received an unsolicited compliment or two from strangers. Slightly smaller than some large-face watches, this watch is comfortable for most men. (If you prefer a very large watch, then this watch isn't for you.) The plastic strap is black and looks very nice with a matte finish, not shiny, and is more comfortable than a…

Perfect watch for me but be careful with setup

All I wanted was a light watch, comfortable on the wrist, easy to read and accurate. I didn't need a calendar, stopwatch, 300-foot water resistance, or any other fancy features. This is my second Casio of this model. The first strap broke after about three years, and a new strap cost about the same as a new watch. Also, the battery was most likely nearing the end of its lifespan. So for $12 I took the plunge and bought a brand new watch. My first reaction to the new watch was that it was…

Nice watch but 32mm case, only 35mm crown.

Nice watch, slightly smaller than advertised. I was looking for a basic watch (time only, no date) and this seemed to fit the bill. While I knew the input was small, the published measurements are somewhat inaccurate. The watch is 35mm in diameter including the crown, but the case diameter itself is closer to 32mm. The watch measures approximately 37mm from top to bottom. It might be a bit smaller than I would have liked, even for a thin-wristed man. Unlike the Timex Weekender, Easy Reader, and

Five stars. suitable for ladies

This is the best watch I have ever owned. Of course I don't buy expensive watches, but they are fantastic. The dial just fits my wrist (about 2 3/4 inches wide or so); Alternatively, the dial could be said to be a little larger than a quarter, or about the size of a modern US dollar. Coin. Extremely easy to read, stays accurate and works straight away. The delivery was quick too. Other good things: the ribbon is a wonderful material (it must be that "resin" they're referring to in the title)…
