A small price increase is worth it. Perfect OEM fit, finish and quiet operation. The Showsen block appears to be a faithful reproduction of the original VDO design. Aftermarket brands Autex and Topaz have brittle white PLA composite hubs with "hamster wheel" spokes that can deform and destroy the supercharger. The Showsen block has a solid, solid black ABS plastic hub that's just a lot nicer and better made than the stock part.
