Good build quality!
Really good filter. Passes a large volume of water through the filter and includes a direct water bypass. It's very well made for the $13 I paid and is all stainless steel. I can't speak to its filtering capabilities as it's not easy to verify, but if you have problem water there isn't a faucet filter on the market to fix it. I would suggest hooking up the correct filter that comes with the water softener to help with this. These small filters for washbasin faucets are more for extra "reassurance".
