The item was wrapped in a small amount of bubble wrap in a cardboard box. The nutcracker was cute, pretty much what I expected for the price, would have been a fitting addition to the little nutcracker collection started for my pirate loving six year old grandson. Except for half the mustache. The missing part wasn't even in the box, otherwise I would probably have glued it back on and, considering the price, would have been quite happy. But since I've added returning this item and finding a replacement to my to-do list, I'll mention the sloppy threads and dried glue stains on the Nutcracker's face that wouldn't be covered up by a bit of mustache if it was for me would be available to glue back in place. . Sloppy glue would be difficult, if not impossible, to remove without damaging the face.
