I've used it for over a year; it's a fantastic product. The unit has far less dust now. The distinction can be seen with the unaided eye. The floors are much cleaner, so you need to wipe the dust off much less frequently. Given how much debris builds up on the main filter in a month, the grid's existence shields it obviously. The only requirement for this technological marvel to have an impact is that it must operate continuously. In the worst-case scenario, switch it off at night. You shouldn't even invest money on it if you only plan to use it for a few hours every day. There won't be any impact.
