Review on 💎 Sparkling Brilliance: Darice 750-Piece Aurora Borealis Hot Fix Glass Stones, 4mm by Carrie Spencer

I used them and the Darice hotfix tool to dazzle my suit. The stones hold up well. I only had 4-5 stones that were not suitable for the project because they were deformed or blunt. I've had no issues with rocks not having enough adhesive to securely adhere to the material. The only problem was that some of them were slightly taller or wider and the fix tool wouldn't pick them up. This applied to 10-20 stones. This wasn't a problem as I was able to place the stone and use the tool once the stone was in place. I preferred picking up the bricks, putting them in place and holding the tool for 10-15 seconds. Rather than holding the stone in the tool and waiting to apply the stone when the glue starts bubbling (which the instructions recommend), I felt my method had a stronger hold and less chance of loosening the stone spins/falls out when placed. .With this technique I have seen that the glue seeps through the fabric and sticks to the table. It came loose, but to avoid damage I used a marble stand underneath. This helped because it warmed up a bit from the tool, which allowed the stone to stick better. (I tried several layers of fabric under the stone + tool during application but I think the marble creates a stronger bond.) I used a sewing needle to poke into the gap of the tool. I pressed down on the rock before removing the tool so the rock wouldn't pop up when I pulled the tool out. Also, these are very small stones. It will probably take 10-12 to make an inch. I was hoping for a size up but they did the job. It took about 5-6 hours to apply all the stones to this suit. It's a long process
